  36. I agree, the data cost is to offset the exspence to USGS of providing the
  37. data on tape and loading the requested files. A call to 1-800-USAMAPS should
  38. confirm this. Once you purchase the data, it should be pd (so long as it was
  39. purchased from USGS and not a comercial source who might have massaged the 
  40. data making it proprietary e.g. Vista Pro or WCS).
